What is Ingress?

Ingress is a massively-multiplayer online augmented reality game played on your smart phone (Android or iPhone). It takes place all over the world and requires you to get out and explore your community.

"Portals" in the game are landmarks in the real world: sculptures, parks, churches, unique places of business and other points of interest.

Your goal in the game is to capture these portals for your team, then link them together to form control fields while your opponents are trying to do the same.

The world around you is not what it seems. Our future is at stake, and you must choose a side.
